Old Causeway Bakery is the home of Sandra and Simon and is a really quite beautiful old house and bakery which retains loads of period and quirky features. We have sumptuously decorated and comfortably furnished the house with family pieces as well as newly acquired pieces. We look forward to welcoming you to our home for bed and breakfast and hope to make your stay special.

The Old Bakery Wing is very popular as it is to all intents and purposes a one bedroom house attached to the main house. It is very private, access is via the rear hallway on the ground floor only, so effectively it has it’s own front door. It comprises a large bedroom with king size bed, large bathroom with Jacuzzi bath as well as a separate shower, large sitting/dining room where we serve breakfast to Bakery guests only, and a small kitchen for making tea and coffee, with a fridge. There are French doors from the sitting/dining room to a covered patio for exclusive use of the Bakery guests. (If you come with your dogs this is a real bonus as the dogs can be let out at any time with ease!)

All the guests who have stayed in the Old Bakery wing so far have loved it, particularly for the comfort and privacy.

In addition there are two lovely rooms in the main house, one with a king size bed and an en suite shower room and one with a adjacent bathrooom and separate loo.

There is excellent walking all around and directly from the garden into the fields.

* All reasonable requests by guests will be met if at all possible!!
* Sitting room available for guests in the main house with TV
* Sitting room available for guests in the Old Bakery Wing with TV
* Tea and coffee available at all times
* Wireless network
* Breakfast served at an agreed time – Full English with free range eggs, bacon, sausage, mushroom, tomatoe, etc, all sourced locally where possible, cereal and toast, tea or coffee and juice.
* Children of all ages welcome.
* Dogs welcome, garden is “dog proof” (we have two soppy male dogs, a Black Lab and a Working Cocker Spaniel)
* Good walks.
* Off road parking.
* The Antelope Inn across the road, (friendly local pub), serves lunch and dinner and has an ever changing selection of guest beers - (no dinner served on a Sunday but other local pubs do).
* We are happy to book restaurants for you as well as taxis if required.
