St John's Guest House is a Victorian terrace property, originally built circa 1880, and located approximately 70 yards from the beach. Conveniently situated and easy to find, there is a large free onsite car park for guests. The train & coach stations are only a few minutes away.
Having recently completed a considerable refurbishment, all rooms are en-suite and have been tastefully updated with modern facilities. All rooms have a television with DVD player, and complimentary access to our courtesy DVD library. Free WiFi Internet access is available. For your comfort and convenience rooms also have Tea & Coffee making facilities, fans, radio/alarm clocks and hair dryers. Ironing facilities are available upon request. We also have a variety of ground floor rooms available.

We understand the importance of starting the day on the right foot and pride ourselves on the quality of our breakfast. We use local farm produce where possible, and offer a variety of hot and cold alternatives.

Weymouth itself has plenty to offer. The golden sands and safe water of Weymouth Beach and bay are some of the finest in Great Britain. Throughout the year the beach hosts several major events including the International Beach Kite Festival, Fireworks, Tag Rugby, Handball, Volleyball, Motocross etc. From lazing on the beach or sitting along the Seafront the views are inspirational with the panoramic bay and World Heritage Jurassic coastline extending as far as the eye can see.
The main shopping area is mainly pedestrianised and has a wide variety of shops and restaurants, As well as a multi-screen cinema. Theatre shows, 10 pin bowling, the marina, the Sea Life Centre and beautiful gardens are all within walking distance.

Directions

St John's Guest House is ideally situated and easy to find, as it is directly opposite one of Weymouth largest and most visible landmarks St John's Church. The two main routes in to Weymouth are either along the coastal road taking the A353 in to Weymouth, the other is from Dorchester along the Dorchester Road. From the A353: As you come along the A353 heading in to Weymouth you will go up a slight incline with the beach visible on your left hand side. You will then go over the brow of the incline and see the spire of St John's Church about 300 yards in front of you. The road will then join the one way system and split in two lanes the left heading on to the sea front, the right will go around the front of the Church, and back on to the one way system. Stay in the right lane and the Church will be on your right. Take the slip road in front of the Church you are now facing St John's Guest House. There is unrestricted parking at the front of the property, and an onsite car park at the rear of the property off Grange Road. From Dorchester: Follow the Dorchester Road from Dorchester to Weymouth. As you approach Weymouth the road splits left and right�stay in the right lane. This heads round on to the seafront and in to Weymouth. Stay in the right lane and the Church will be on your right. Take the slip road in front of the Church�you are now facing St John�s Guest House. There is unrestricted parking at the front of the property, and an onsite car park at the rear of the property off Grange Road.
