This lovely, quaint cottage is set in the heart of the delightful village of Abbotsbury, which is nestled between rolling hills on the famous World Heritage Jurassic Coastline and beach, midway between the seaside resorts of Weymouth to the east, and West Bay and Bridport to the west. This attached cottage offers great accommodation for six guests, from where you can wander around this popular village, visit the old abbey or enjoy the Swannery, the tithe barn and subtropical gardens.

There are superb coastal walks and cycle routes. Nearby is Weymouth with its seaside attractions and atmosphere, and Dorchester, the county town with its many museums, shops, cinemas and eateries. Going west, you will find West Bay, the setting for the TV series ’Broadchurch’, and further on to Lyme Regis. Going further afield, visit the Purbecks, Swanage and Wareham, and take in some good family fun at Monkey World and the Bovington Tank Museum. The local area is the setting for many of Thomas Hardy’s novels. Beach 2 miles. Shops, pub and tea rooms 100 yards.
