Set in the beautiful Dorset countryside and yet within easy reach of Dorchester, Weymouth, the Chesil Beach and the famous World Heritage Jurassic Coast. There is great dog walking and scenic country walks on your doorstep, and nearby village pubs to wine and dine in at Piddletrenthide and Piddlehinton. For days out, the county town of Dorchester with its quaint shops and museums, is well worth a visit. Weymouth will appeal to all the family with its sandy beach, family activities such as boating, fishing, yachting, the Sealife World and tower. The children will love Monkey World and the Bovington Tank Museum, both within easy driving distance, or slightly further afiled, explore Corfe Castle, take a trip back in time on the Swanage Steam Railway, or simply venture down into the Purbecks and take in some beautiful coastal scenery and Durdle Door. Nearer to home you can call in at Cerne Abbas and admire the chalk giant carved into the hillside, go and visit the character abbey town of Sherborne, or maybe venture into south Somerset and have family time at the amazing Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm Museum or Haynes Classic Car Museum.
