Providence House is situated in the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty where you can relax on the golden sandy beaches.

Providence House was refurbished in 2017 and is a family home with lots of character and added extra touches, and there is a rooftop garden which is an ideal suntrap all day. An extra dog friendly property with a utility room with a shower for sandy feet or paws, perfect for nearby beach walks. Lyme Regis beach is just a 20-minute walk away or 5 minutes by car. For cosy winter breaks, there is a comfortable living room with an open log fire and you will find toys and games to keep the kids entertained.

Lyme Regis is known locally as the ‘Pearl of Dorset’ bordering the Devon/Dorset countryside. It’s a great place for exploring lots of nearby attractions and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, in particular the UNESCO World Heritage Jurassic coastline. Lyme Regis beach is a gem for fossil hunters, you can be kept entertained for hours fossil hunting along the 200 million year old coastline or visit the quaint shops, cafés or wonderful scenic harbour and Cobb. Why not follow in the footsteps of Jane Austen and the characters of her novel Persuasion, or pay a visit to Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall’s restaurant in nearby Axminster. Slightly further afield, visit Beer, Branscombe, Seaton and Exeter, and heading east West Bay, Bridport, Dorchester, Abbotsbury where the chocolate box villages can be admired, and onto Weymouth and Portland, home of the sailing events in the 2012 Olympics and award-winning beaches.
