Within easy driving, one can spend the day exploring the county town of Dorchester with its many family attractions, ranging from The Dorset County Museum, Dinosaur Museum, Tutankhamun Museum, Dorset Teddy Bear Museum, Terracotta Warriors and of course its many restaurants and shops. Further afield, perhaps spend a day out enjoying Monkey World and The Tank Museum, some walking along this famous scenic coastline around Lulworth Cove or the Chesil Beach, and on to Bridport, West Bay and Lyme Regis. Nearby, Weymouth with its sandy beach, offers a huge range of sporting activities from boating, sailing, swimming, windsurfing and fishing, or maybe a trip on the ferry to Guernsey or France.
