For days out visit Milton Abbey, Athelhampton House, Kingston Lacey, Cerne Abbey and the giant carved into the side of the hill at Cerne Abbas. Approximately 20 miles away you can visit the coastal resorts of Poole and Bournemouth where you will find museums, watersports, beaches and restaurants serving local produce. Don’t miss exploring the Purbecks, taking in Corfe, Swanage, Lulworth Cove, and on down to the Victorian seaside town of Weymouth on the famous Jurassic Coast.
