Cransley

Cransley

Built between 1908 and 1911 as a seaside country house, the Cransley was converted into a small private hotel for paying guests in 1939.

Designed in the Arts and Crafts style on Knyveton Road, an avenue of ancient pines, this elegant detached house is a close neighbour to the homes of some of Britain’s most important and historic Victorian and Edwardian figures. Prime Minister Lord Derby, The Sheriff of Hampshire, Edward VII and Lillie Langtry all had houses on the Knyveton and Derby Road crossroads - far from the madding crowd, yet with all the stylish sophistication of any aristocratic London residence.

The Cransley retains the ambience of a traditional early 20th century private country house, yet offers all the quality facilities of modern 21st century living.

You will be close to the heart of Bournemouth, with a variety of interesting shops within easy walking distance. However, you will also be only a ten minute stroll from the award winning beaches.

You will find all the quality facilities you should expect of a four star guest house, including comfortable accommodation, great home cooked food, attentive service and real value for money.

Boasting a garden, shared lounge and free WiFi, Cransley is located in Bournemouth, 1.2 km from Boscombe Beach. Around 1.6 km from Bournemouth International Centre, the property is also close to Bournemouth Beach. Local points of interest like Grosvenor Casino Bournemouth and Queen's Park are reachable within a 15-minute walk and 2 km, respectively. The rooms in the guest house are fitted with a kettle. All units in Cransley are equipped with a flat-screen TV and free toiletries. The daily breakfast offers continental and Full English/Irish options.
