Hensleigh House is 300 metres level walk from the famous Jurassic beach at Charmouth. Featured on many television programmes Charmouth beach is a major destination for fossil hunters, whether experienced specialists or families wanting to find their own treasures to take home.

In addition the area around Charmouth has some fantastic walks, such as the National Trust estate at Golden Cap, which is again often featured on television.

Description of Charmouth's television heritage would not be complete without mention of the ITV series Broadchurch which was filmed in the area, including scenes using the iconic blue beach huts at Charmouth.
