The statue in the grounds of St George's church in Langton Matravers.
Entitled 'Mason', the statue depicts a stonemason, marking a thousand years of quarrying and stone-working in Purbeck.
Commissioned for the Millennium the statue was created by octogenarian sculptor Mary Spencer-Watson
