A fully restored watermill dating from 1340. The complex also houses art galleries, a cafe/restaurant, craft studios & workshops, a bakery and a shop.

Positioned in the heart of Lyme Regis, in the artisan quarter and just minutes from the high street and seafront is The Town Mill. This fully restored and working watermill dates back 700 years. Rescued by a group of local volunteers, it took 10 years of restoration to bring it from a derelict state to the tourist attraction it is today.

Around the cobbled courtyard there are the restored mill buildings where regular demonstrations of milling take place, as well as craft studios with art galleries and pottery, as well as a microbrewery, restaurant, cheese monger, gift shop and a pretty 17th century walled garden.
