Still on the original site at Bridport in West Dorset, Palmers Brewery has a history dating back over 200 years. Palmers Brewery have been brewing fine ales since 1794 and supply award winning draught beers to a number of pubs across the south west. Traditional methods are still used along with contemporary systems to bring it into the 21st century.
Tours of Palmers Brewery are very popular and take visitors through the historical brewery buildings, behind the scenes and give an insight into every stage of the centuries old brewing process. The tour end with beer tasting in Palmers Wine Store and each person also receives a glass Palmers tankard.
The brewery is open between Easter and October and the tour takes approximately two hours.
