Winspit Quarry
Winspit is an old disused quarry on the coastal cliffs near Worth Matravers. The stone from this quarry was highly prized and used in various prestigious buildings in London. Some of the caverns are still open to the public but many have been closed for safety and conservation reasons.

The Town Mill
A fully restored watermill dating from 1340. The complex also houses art galleries, a cafe/restaurant, craft studios & workshops, a bakery and a shop.
Mangerton Mill
Working 17th c water mill and Museum of Rural Bygones. Also features tea rooms, cafe and craft centre
Palmers Brewery
Traditional brewery, which is the only thatched brewery in the UK. Tours culminate in a tasting session in the board room
Place Mill
Carefully restored Anglo-Saxon watermill situated on Christchurch Quay at the confluence of the rivers Avon and Stour. Now home to a local arts and crafts market
